Q: Will you give us a deal if we hire you for
multiple events?
A: Yes, I can offer a discount for playing multiple
events. Every event is different, so please contact me to discuss your
details.
Q: Do you require a deposit?
A: Yes, I do require a retainer. Payment in full is due
before the event. I work with you to make payment as easy and
convenient as possible – whether you drop a check in the mail, credit
card, or pay via PayPal or on
the date – it’s up to you.
Q: Do you charge for travel time and set-up?
A: No, unless travel time is excessive.
Q: Will we get a contract?
A: Yes, I have a contract that we both sign, which
states the date of the event, the hours I commit to play and the agreed
upon rate.
Q: Will you stay overtime?
A: Yes, this is a good time for you to tip your
entertainer .
Q: Will you play guests’ requests?
A: It depends – if it’s appropriate to the event and
the crowd, then yes definitely. If you have specifically asked me
not to play certain songs or types of music, however, I
will honor that over a guest’s request.
Q: Do you have professional equipment and a back-up
system?
A: Absolutely! I purchase only professional-grade
equipment which I always keep well maintained and updated.
Q: Why should I hire you versus another DJ or DJ
company?
A: Experience. One-on-one customer service.
Professionalism. I enjoy what I do – it’s not just a business for me.
